This prompt is not a third class you unlock. Guides say one Runner is offered it during a round.
What the detailed guide says
The October 6, 2026 beginner guide says:
- Hero means you cross the arena alone for an extra reward.
- Chicken means you decline that reward and the round continues with the full Runner group.
- The reward amount is not published.
- Hero is the high-risk button. Chicken keeps the safety of numbers.
Pick Chicken when you are still missing dashes and the Chaser is already competent. A solo crossing with no Cloak and no Rescue Kit is how a new Runner becomes an extra Chaser.
Pick Hero only when you can already chain a sideways dash with an Alt stop, and you are willing to lose the attempt. There is no published number that tells you the bonus is worth a failed crossing.
A conflicting walkthrough
A round walkthrough describes a chosen Hero whose successful run lets everyone through. That is a different rule from a personal bonus. The October 6 guide is the more specific written source, and this site follows it until the in-game prompt says otherwise. If your prompt promises a team clear, believe the prompt for that server.
Chicken is also not a knife skin. The community knife list has no Chicken entry.
